A good start is to evaluate your profile(s), top to bottom, to ensure you are conveying exactly what you want others to see and to set yourself apart from everyone else. This shows attention to detail as well as a degree of professionalism. Many agree that with small online images it’s best to use head and shoulders closeups to fill about 60% of the frame with your face, making you more recognizable (but don’t crop too close, that’s just creepy)!
